Police issue update after missing woman found dead at house
The death of a missing woman whose body was found in a house in Warrington is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
The body of the woman was discovered at a property on Folly Lane, north of the town centre, by police shortly after 9.30am on Wednesday morning (January 17). Cheshire Police said she had been reported missing on Tuesday night.
A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody. In an update issued today (Thursday), Cheshire Police said the woman's death is no longer being treated as suspicious.

The man who was arrested has been released without charge. A file will now be passed to the local coroner.
No further details about the woman, including her age or name, have yet been disclosed. Yesterday, a house on Folly Lane was cordoned off as forensic officers scoured the scene for evidence.
One neighbour told the Liverpool Echo that the occupants of the home were 'a woman and a young child' while a passer-by described the woman as a 'lovely girl'.
In a statement issued this morning, a spokesperson for Cheshire Police said :"Detectives investigating the death of a woman in Warrington have confirmed that her death is not suspicious.
"A 51-year-old man, who was arrested in relation to the incident, has since been released without charge. The death has been referred to HM Coroner."
