Police issue update after man arrested following music festival brawl

A man who was arrested after a brawl broke out beside a stage at a music festival at the Barton Aerodrome has been released on bail.

The fight, which was understood to have involved weapons, happened at the Mvson World event on Saturday night (July 15). Five people were left injured.

Police said the disturbance followed an attempted robbery at the festival before a group of men left via the main entrance towards Liverpool Road. Yesterday, officers said a man was arrested in connection with the incident at Manchester Airport on Monday night.
