Police cordon off street in south Manchester following serious incident - updates
Police have cordoned off a street in Withington this morning following a serious incident.
Officers can be seen stationed in Everett Road, with the street and a number of buildings taped off. The cordon runs from Palatine Road to Cromer Avenue, with a building on nearby Aldborough Road shut off as well.
Photos from the scene show the cordon extending across a number of buildings, with officers stood outside. Evidence markers can also be seen within the cordon.

It is not yet clear what the exact nature of the incident is, although Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.
