Plymouth Argyle vs Bolton Wanderers LIVE: Build-up, early team news, match updates & reaction

Bolton Wanderers are on the road this afternoon with one of the longest away days of the season when they take on Plymouth Argyle.

The Whites have made the long journey to Devon when they take on the Green Army at Home Park. They will be seeking to return to winning ways this afternoon.

Wanderers have suffered back to back defeats over the past week. The Whites succumbed 2-0 to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend in League One.

And in midweek, Wanderers impressed in the Carabao Cup against top flight side Aston Villa. Despite taking the lead, the Premier League quality of the visitors eventually told and the Whites bowed out of the competition.

But today, all focus turns back to the league campaign. Wanderers face a tough test against Steven Schumacher's side.

The Green Army did the double over the Whites last season. A 3-0 victory at Home Park was followed up with a 1-0 triumph at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Bolton will be seeking to return to winning ways and seek to avoid a repeat of last season's outings against Argyle. We'll be live throughout the day bringing you all the updates from Home Park with all the build-up, team news, match updates and reaction from Ian Evatt.

Wanderers boss Ian Evatt made six changes in midweek for the Carabao Cup clash against Aston Villa.

A similar amount could be on the cards this afternoon against Plymouth and we've had a go at predicting the side which the Bolton boss could name for the encounter versus the Pilgrims.
