Piers Morgan gives his Baby Reindeer 'real-life' Martha verdict... as she demands £1million for controversial interview
Piers Morgan has shared what he really thought of Baby Reindeer's 'real-life' Martha following his viral interview with the woman claiming to be the one portrayed in the hit Netflix series.
In the drama series, inspired by the real-life experiences of comedian and writer Richard Gadd, his character Donny is stalked by a woman called Martha after he serves her a free cup of tea in the pub where he works. Following its release, viewers have tried to track down the real Martha.
A woman has since come forward claiming to be the 'real Marth' and sat down with Piers to 'set the record straight' on the story that has caught the eyes of the world. She said she had been 'forced' into doing the interview on Piers Morgan: Uncensored after being contacted by 'online sleuths' and sent death threats.

But Netflix or Gadd himself have yet to comment on claims the woman is the 'real-life' Martha. Netflix's policy chief Benjamin King did say last week ahead of the interview that the streaming giant and the production company 'took every reasonable precaution in disguising the real-life identities of the people involved in that story'.
During the interview with Piers, the woman claimed several things were untrue about the Netflix show - including that Gadd had never offered her a free cup of tea, and she never messaged him as much as the character in the drama is portrayed as doing.
