Piers Morgan criticises Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag yet again with Cristiano Ronaldo point

Piers Morgan has continued to criticise Erik ten Hag and has insisted Manchester United should have kept Cristiano Ronaldo after the Reds were hammered 3-0 by Manchester City.

Erling Haaland grabbed a brace to put the match out of United's reach before Phil Foden added gloss to the scoreline by converting the Norwegian talisman's cross for the third. In truth, the Reds were second best throughout and Ten Hag cut a disappointed figure at full-time.

Not wishing to miss an opportunity to stick the boot in, Morgan, who has continually criticised Ten Hag after his fallout with Ronaldo last year, slammed the United boss on social media. Back in November, Ronaldo spoke exclusively to TalkTV about his troubles at United. In the interview, he took the opportunity to criticise Ten Hag, the Glazers and former teammates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville for their comments about him.

Upon the full conversation airing, the Reds took the decision to part company with Ronaldo and the Portuguese icon has since signed for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
