Pierre Gasly's 'parking lot' brawl with Lance Stroll misdirected amid Alpine troubles

Pierre Gasly would want to forget the 2023 British Grand Prix as soon as possible.

Having jumped ship from AlphaTauri to Alpine at the end of 2022, thereby parting ways with Red Bull for the first time in his Formula 1 career, Gasly had a rude awakening to the trials and tribulations outside of the Austrian camp.

And to make matters worse, Gasly had two altercations with Stroll in the race's closing stages and one with Sainz. The Grand Prix ended with both Alpines retiring from the race, again scoring zero points.

Gasly was visibly upset after the race, having strong words for Stroll and the FIA's inconsistent refereeing, and even pushed Sainz on the arm
