Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Barcelona star 'robbed and beaten' by thieves in his own home
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly been the victim of a violent robbery, according to Spanish outlet El Pais.
Per the Daily Mail, at roughly 1am on Monday morning, at least four intruders climbed into the back garden of Aubameyang’s home in Castelldefels.
The robbers threatened him with firearms and iron bars, and beat him, according to police sources.
They threatened both Aubameyang and his wife while attempting to open a safe.
The robbers successful opened the safe, took several jewels, before departing.
They are said to have fled in a a white Audi A3.
Aubameyang’s wife, Alysha Behague, notified the police of what had happened.

The attack came just hours after Barcelona’s La Liga clash against Valladolid at Camp Nou.
Aubameyang was an unused substitute as Barca won 4-0. Robert Lewandowski (2), Pedri and Sergi Roberto were all on target for the Catalan giants.
