Philippe Clement reveals missing Rangers ingredient but buoyant boss reels off 10 reasons to believe
Philippe Clement has heaped praise on his Rangers players and the support as he named the ONE thing they lacked at Tannadice.
The Light Blues got back to winning ways in the return from the international break to put a difficult fortnight behind them after a thumping by Celtic in the first derby of the season. Tom Lawrence was the hero as he netted with just seven minutes on the clock to put the Light Blues above Dundee United in the league standings and cut the gap on the Hoops and Aberdeen at the top - after they both made it five wins from five 24 hours before.
The Belgian boss hailed the victory as a 'big result' following the international break but he did flag the ONE part of Rangers' game that was missing at Tannadice. He also heaped praise on the large travelling support for making their trip to the City of Discovery feel like a home game as he one again touched on the synergy between the players and fans. He told BBC Sportsound: "It's a big result. It is a hard place to come and Dundee United showed that the last couple of weeks. Also, after an international when lots of players leave the club and you don't have many training moments it is always dangerous to come to a place like this and the players did a really good job and it is a deserved victory.
"I think after 20 minutes we had 80 per cent ball possession and several chances. It is massive to start the game really well. Once we did, the only thing I think we missed today was scoring the second goal to kill off the game or the third after.
"Then you are more comfortable because against these teams it always remains dangerous with one long throw-in or one corner or set piece. In another way we didn't give away chances so that is also a really good thing
