Philippe Clement reacts to Ianis Hagi red card as he reveals why Vaclav Cerny celebrated goal with him

Philippe Clement has branded Ianis Hagi's red card as 'clumsy' and 'unlucky' but concedes he had to walk for the challenge.

The Rangers attacker made his long-awaited top team return as a second half substitute and he showed his quality by picking out Vaclav Cerny with a brilliant pass to set the winger up for his second goal of the night - after a piece of magic and finish to match in the first half to get the Light Blues up and running. However, the Romania international had his big night ruined after a VAR review had his yellow card upgraded to red and he will now serve a suspension on his return from the international break.

Speaking to Premier Sports after the match, Clement spoke about the performance and second half flash point and said: "No, we could have played better.
