Philippe Clement not 'impressed' by Rangers mentality in St Mirren win as he reveals what players CAN do to bowl him over

Philippe Clement is gearing up for four Rangers "finals" - and says he's not interested in putting the pressure on Celtic.

Clement breathed a sigh of relief in Paisley as his team downed St Mirren 2-1 to get back to winning ways in the league. Cyriel Dessers' header sealed the three points that threw the ball back over to Celtic who face Dundee in the later kickoff on Sunday.

Rangers now have four league games left and winning all four, including a huge derby with Celtic at Parkhead on May 11, would give them a fighting chance of clinching the title. Clement was asked on BBC Sportsound if he was "impressed" with his players' mentality in Paisley and he said: "It didn't impress me, it's what I demand and what I want every time.

"It's not about impressing in that way. They can impress me with beautiful goals, and they did that already this season. The second goal today was a really good goal, good quality in the cross and a good finish. So we need to continue doing that.

"Next week it will be a hard battle for three points. We need to go into that with the whole squad together. We need to continue like that for the next four finals in the league, and the final of the cup. It needs to be our aim to put everything into the next four games to get three points, then we'll see where we land with that."

The boss then gave Celtic the cold shoulder when asked if their win heaps the pressure onto Brendan Rodgers and his troops. "That's for them (to worry about)," he said. "I'm only busy with Rangers and our three points. Nothing else."
