Philadelphia Eagles: Miles Sanders makes ominous claim about team's talent

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders has made a big claim about this current side, and one that might give fans nightmares thinking back to the past.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been on something of a wild ride in the past few years. Having won the Super Bowl back in the 2017 season against the New England Patriots, they haven’t been able to capitalise on their success since then, and whilst they have made the playoffs in three of the four seasons since then, missing out in 2020 with a 4-11-1 record, they haven’t come close to achieving that success once again.

And in amongst all of that, there has been a change of quarterback as they moved on from Carson Wentz – who was performing at an MVP level in 2017 before injury cut his season short – as well as head coach as the man who led them to their Super Bowl win Doug Pederson was fired at the end of the 2020 season.

Speaking in an interview with CBS Sports, Sanders spoke of how impressed he has been with the team, with reference to the offensive weapons that the team now has including A.J Brown, DeVonte Smith and Dallas Goedert, and how it is coming together over the offseason, claiming that they are developing into a very special team:

“Oh man. We all feel like we’re on
