Phil Foden: Micah Richards shut down Sol Campbell after comments about Man City star

Phil Foden enjoyed yet another impressive campaign at Manchester City in 2021/22.

The England international was a regular in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI and helped the team win a fourth Premier League title in the space of five years.

Across all competitions, Foden finished with 14 goals and 11 assists from 45 appearances, a mighty fine return.

The ‘Stockport Iniesta’ was rewarded for his efforts with the PFA Young Premier League Player of the Year award, which he also won in 2021/21.

Foden is close to breaking into the world-class bracket and if he continues to improve under Guardiola, he may win a Ballon d’Or at some point in his career.

The youngster’s brilliance in a City shirt during recent seasons has unsurprisingly resulted in him becoming very famous.

Most fans of English football know all there is to know about Foden. Well, apart from Arsenal legend Sol Campbell.
