Aurélien Tchouameni: Real Madrid-bound ace goes viral for nightmare 35 seconds v Austria

Aurélien Tchouameni is one of the hottest properties in football right now.

The Frenchman, 22, has been extremely impressive for AS Monaco in the 2021/22 season.

A number of the world’s biggest clubs have been chasing his signature in the past few months, with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain all linked with a move.

But it is Los Blancos who appear to have won the race for his signature.

The Athletic report that Real have agreed a €100 million fee with Monaco for the 22-year-old.

Tchouameni is currently on international duty and he started in Les Bleus’ 1-1 draw with Austria in the UEFA Nations League on Friday evening.

The midfielder has gone viral after losing his head for 35 seconds in the second half.

France were 1-0 down in the 58th minute. Tchouameni was on the ball in Austria’s half as France looked for an equaliser.

Tchouameni tried everything to find a teammate but he ended up losing the ball four times in just over half-a-minute.

He’s shown time and time again that he’s a superb player this campaign.

But that hasn’t stopped many football fans making jokes at the 22-year-old’s expense. View some reaction below…
