Phil Foden has answered Pep Guardiola question to prove he can be Man City's difference maker

As we head into the final 10 games of the Premier League season, Phil Foden's mesmerising form could prove decisive for Manchester City in the title race.

The academy graduate is enjoying the best season of his career. His hat-trick against Brentford, brace in the Manchester derby and stunning strike to equalise at Goodison Park are just some of his standout moments as he marries consistency and quality with a new level of maturity.

Foden's performances have put him in contention for the player of the season award and his importance is evident having started 26 of City's 28 top flight matches. But, just why is he so important to the Blues' chances of making history and becoming the first team to win the Premier League four consecutive times?

A key factor is his versatility. His ability to play in tight spaces has seen him play in five different positions this term and his exceptional close ball control, dribbling ability, passing range, and vision enables him to dictate the tempo and create scoring opportunities for teammates wherever he plays.
