Phil De Fries reflects on overcoming anxiety ahead of KSW 74 title fight

KSW heavyweight champion Phil De Fries has reflected on his journey to the top as he prepares to defend his belt at KSW 74 this weekend.

While he may not be one of the biggest names in the heavyweight game, there’s no denying that Phil De Fries has been one of the most consistent fighters in that weight class across the globe in the last few years.

The 36-year-old is currently riding a nine-fight win streak and amid that run, he’s won seven straight with KSW – successfully capturing the belt in his very first appearance back in April 2018.

Since that moment in Wroclaw he’s become a force of nature after defending the title six times, and this Saturday night, he’ll hope to make it lucky number seven when he meets former Chelsea goalkeeper-turned-fighter Ricardo Prasel.
