Phenomenal AI pictures turn the Trafford Centre into indoor rainforest paradise

Phenomenal AI pictures have showed what the Trafford Centre would look like if it was transformed into a huge indoor rainforest.

In recent months, the use of artificial intelligence to create pictures has exploded, with computers now able to quickly design realistic and surreal images.

The pictures, warped by Bryan Blears, were shared to Twitter on Tuesday evening (April 25), showing just what the huge indoor shopping centre in Greater Manchester would look like if it was developed into an indoor rainforest. He used the site Midjourney to create the pictures.

Regent Crescent, typically filled with eager shoppers and a variety of stores, looked completely different, with a glass dome roof and a huge indoor pond, complete with wildlife and vegetation.

The signs for John Lewis, Boots and Starbucks were nowhere to be seen and were instead replaced by towering palm trees and rocks, creating an idyllic indoor abyss.

AI image generators are able to quickly create images from very simple text instructions by analysing data and information soured online.

The Manchester Evening News put the image generator to the test earlier this month, creating a completely revamped Piccadilly Gardens and a transformed city centre with 100 skyscrapers.
