PFL launches official partnership with ‘Gloves Up, Knives Down’ charity

Professional Fighters League has announced the formation of a partnership with the ‘Gloves Up, Knives Down’ campaign.

Over the course of the last few years we’ve seen the PFL grow and expand in a variety of different ways. From signing some of the top free agents in mixed martial arts to announcing plans for PFL Europe in 2023, they continue to go above and beyond in the name of improving their brand.

Now, in their latest blockbuster announcement, they’ve announced a fantastic partnership with the charity Gloves Up, Knives Down.

GUKD was founded back in 2019 with the intention of using the boxing world to help young people begin training in the gym and avoid a life of crime that could potentially lead to serious injury, imprisonment and perhaps even death.

They’ve done some fantastic work since with co-founder of GUKD, David Edgell, having the following to say on this recent deal.

“We are delighted to partner PFL in London, welcome them to our GUKD Hub, and attend the PFL launch at the Copper Box Arena. Both organisations are reenergising community spirit, and are in perfect alignment.”

PFL has confirmed that they will be making a big donation to GUKD that will assist in further enhancing their digital output through their website and social channels.

As part of the launch, Ray Sefo and Simeon Powell took part in a training session in London whereby they spoke about the positive impact of combat sports.

GUKD will have a notable presence this weekend as PFL 9 emanates from the Copper Box Arena in the English capital.

We’ll discover the finalists for this season in both the featherweight and women’s lightweight divisions
