Peseiro invites Osimhen, 26 others for 2023 AFCON’s qualifiers

Super Eagles new Head Coach, José Santos Peseiro, has extended invitations to Napoli’s talisman, Victor Osimhen and 26 other players ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches for Cote d’Ivoire 2023.

Nigeria will kick-start its campaign for next year’s AFCON qualification when it host Sierra Leone on June 13 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The three-time AFCON champions will then take on São Tomé and Príncipe by travelling to Marrakech, Morocco for the match Day two of the AFCON qualifier in an away fixture on June 13th.

The list of other players invited for the two AFCON qualifiers games are: Goalkeepers: Francis Uzoho (AC Omonia, Cyprus); Adewale Adeyinka (Akwa United); Adebayo Adeleye (Hapoel Jerusalem, Israel).
