Pep Guardiola press conference RECAP Man City Southampton preview and Champions League draw reaction
Pep Guardiola has given his reaction to Manchester City's Champions League draw against Atletico Madrid.
City travel to Southampton in the FA Cup quarter final on Sunday looking to beat the Saints for the first time this season after being held to draws home and away in the Premier League. The Blues are looking to keep alive their hopes of a treble, and can go into the international break on a high with victory at St Mary's.
Guardiola didn't offer offer a team news update, but a social media post from City this week hinted that Ruben Dias was back in training ahead of schedule. He had been ruled out for four to six weeks with a hamstring injury a fortnight ago, but may already be back on the grass. However, he is not part of Portugal's squad for next week's international fixtures so is unlikely to feature at Southampton.
City also discovered their Champions League opponents on Friday, so Guardiola will be expected to offer some instant reaction to their quarter-final tie in that competition.

Would it be done against after United in 1999?
If United did it, another team can do it. To break a record is because someone has done it. When it happens, I think it will. It's not easy, but you can do it. In September, October it's more difficult. Two months left, yeah it can be done. But it happened once in a lifetime.
It's not about comparing, I'm not there and don't know why. United under Ferguson winning titles spent more, then Chelsea.
