Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE with Haaland injury news ahead of Man City vs Liverpool FC

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester City's clash with Liverpool on Saturday.

The Blues will be back in action at the Etihad in their first match since the March international break. City progressed to the FA Cup semi-finals after thrashing Burnley earlier this month, with Guardiola's men also reaching the Champions League quarter-finals after overcoming RB Leipzig.

City secured a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace in their last top-flight match thanks to Erling Haaland's 78th-minute penalty. While Liverpool have endured an underwhelming season so far, Jurgen Klopp's men defeated City in the reverse fixture in the Premier League earlier in the campaign. However, the Blues came out on top when the two sides met in the Carabao Cup in December of last year.

Erling Haaland appeared to miss training on Thursday, throwing his participation against the Merseyside club this weekend in major doubt.

We're expecting to be joined by Pep Guardiola at 1:30pm. Stay tuned to hear what the City boss has to say.
