However, the title race will be paused this weekend with the FA Cup taking centre stage. Guardiola is sweating over the fitness of Erling Haaland after he was substituted at half time against Fulham on Wednesday night.

Post-match, Guardiola explained Haaland 'did not feel comfortable' so the decision was made not to risk him. John Stones returned to the bench in midweek and could be in line for a start this Saturday.
