Wales press conference Live as players set to learn team to face Ireland

Wales are back in training today ahead of Friday's Six Nations clash with Ireland in Dublin.

After an improved showing against Scotland, Steve Tandy's side will be desperate to keep moving in the right direction after the mid-tournament break as they head across the Irish Sea later this week.

With everything being a day earlier this week, Tandy could inform his squad of the starting XV today.

Wales are holding a press conference this afternoon - with a Welsh coach facing the media.

An update on Sam Costelow's fitness could come from that. The fly-half limped off during the 26-23 defeat to Scotland, but has remained in Wales camp.

Whether he is fit for Friday night remains to be seen - with Dan Edwards and Jarrod Evans vying for the 10 jersey.

Last week saw Taine Plumtree ruled out of the tournament with a shoulder injury.

Dragons' uncapped second-row/back-row Ryan Woodman has been called up as his replacement.

Cardiff prop Keiron Assiratti - who was initially named in the Six Nations squad before being released due to injury - has been called back in.
