Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE - Man City team news as De Bruyne and Laporte miss RB Leipzig game

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Tuesday evening ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig and he will be joined by Nathan Ake.

Manchester City return to European action looking to bounce back after their disappointing draw with Nottingham Forest on the weekend which saw them throw away the lead after having countless chances to secure the three points.

The draw gave the momentum in the title race back to Arsenal after they defeated Aston Villa earlier on Saturday as the Blues failed to build upon their galvanising victory over the Gunners.

Guardiola will be without some key players for the first leg of the last 16 tie in east Germany, as Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte missed training on Tuesday and haven't made the trip. John Stones also remains sidelined.

The manager may explain their absences in his press conference and provide a time frame for their potential returns.

You can follow what Guardiola and Ake have to say right here.

Nathan Ake will be joining the manager for his press conference, which is due to begin at 5:45 p.m.
