Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE Erling Haaland injury latest ahead of Southampton vs Man City

Pep Guardiola will talk to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester City's trip to Southampton on Saturday.

With City once again playing before title rivals Arsenal this weekend they have the opportunity to shrink the eight-point gap at the top of the table back down to five. It would also pile the pressure on the Gunners ahead of their clash with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Guardiola's side destroyed Liverpool themselves last time out 4-1 and did so without Erling Haaland. The striker has been dealing with a groin issue he suffered before the international break but returned to training this week.

The manager will likely be asked if Haaland is ready to return against the Saints while he may also provide an update on Phil Foden as he recovers from surgery to have his appendix removed.

"The last part of the season, international break, it depends on us how many games we're going to play, Premier League for sure, Champions League, FA Cup. Win we in, don't we're out.
