Pep Guardiola has proved he won't mind three Man City players leaving

So far this transfer window Manchester City have managed to excite their supporters with impressive transfer business.

Highly-rated youngster Julian Alvarez and generational talent Erling Haaland will both be making their way to the Etihad before the start of the new season, while the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Marc Cucurella are also on their radar. Bubbling under the surface, though, is a daunting realisation for City fans.

With all these top signings comes the necessity to let some players go. Gabriel Jesus looks to be the first player close to exiting east Manchester, likely to swap it for London.

Mikel Arteta looks all set to reunite with the Brazilian at Arsenal in a transfer that will bring sadness for plenty of Blues supporters. Jesus came alive in the second half of last season after rumours began about a move to North London.

He became a key part of Pep Guardiola's gameplan and without his contributions it is no guarantee that City would have been as successful as they were last season. Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling appears to be sounding out a move to Chelsea this transfer window.

Thomas Tuchel is thought to be impressed by the Englishman, with the German seeking a replacement for Romelu Lukaku who is likely to depart the Premier League for Inter Milan again. Plus, as has become customary in a transfer window, Bernardo Silva has been attracting interest from Barcelona, a story that simply won't go away despite Guardiola claiming the Portuguese star will stay in Manchester.
