Paul Pogba has already explained Man City transfer stance after Man United 'problems'
Paul Pogba has previously been open to joining Manchester City amid reports linking the club with signing the player.
Pogba, 31, mutually agreed with Juventus to terminate his contract at the end of last month, meaning the former Manchester United midfielder could sign for another club as a free agent from the start of next year. The former France international can also start training again in January after an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced his four-year ban for doping to 18 months.
He will then be able to play again starting in March. Rodri would still be sidelined by then while recovering from injury, despite claims the midfielder could return before the end of this season.

The Independent reports that City are considering a move for Pogba as a potential solution in the absence of the Ballon d'Or winner. Pep Guardiola is said to still admire the player after speaking highly of the World Cup winner in the past.
It would be a shock transfer to say the least. Pogba addressed previous reports about Guardiola's interest in signing him to replace Fernandinho during an interview with the Mail in mid-October.
Pogba claimed he turned down signing for City after leaving United when his contract ended in the summer of 2022, instead re-joining Juventus. Pogba cites a burglary that March and the still-under-investigation extortion attempt involving his brother, Mathias, as reasons behind his not wanting to stay in Manchester.
