Paul Pogba admits he's 'dissatisfied' at Manchester United and breaks silence on future

Paul Pogba has dropped the biggest hint yet that he is ready to leave Manchester United for a second time when his contract ends this summer. Speculation over the World Cup winner remains at fever pitch, 10 years on from his initial move to Juventus.

Elite clubs from across Europe, including PSG and Real Madrid, are thought to be interested in Pogba amid a contract standoff between the player and the Old Trafford hierarchy. Having spent four seasons in Turin, the 29-year-old made his return to United for £90million in 2016.

After 12 months he had won the League Cup and Europa League under Jose Mourinho, but there have been no further trophies for Pogba or United since then. He has made 19 appearances in a variety of positions in all competitions this season, scoring once and adding nine assists. But where where does the soon-to-be out-of-contract Frenchman see his future?

Pogba told Le Figaro : "You have to be honest, these last five seasons have not satisfied me — really not at all. This year is dead, we won't win anything. Whether it's with Manchester United or another club, I want to win trophies.

"It's simple with France, I play and I play in my position — I know my role and I feel the confidence of the coach and the players. It's normal to feel a difference at Manchester United because it's hard to be consistent when you often have a change to your position, or the team system, or your [midfield] partners.

"I get along very well with [France manager Didier Deschamps], he gave me a role that I know — but at Manchester United do I really have a role? I ask the question, but I don't have an answer."
