We 'signed' Antony for Manchester United and got incredible results under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Ajax forward Antony this summer, with Erik ten Hag looking increasingly likely to become the permanent United manager.

The Manchester Evening News reported in January United were aiming to settle on their next manager before the end of the season and now look more likely than ever to appoint Ten Hag ahead of the 2022/23 campaign. Ajax expect their Dutch manager to move to Old Trafford at the end of the season and the Reds are rumoured to be interested in bringing Antony across to Manchester as well.

United could be set for a busy summer with a number of players set to leave, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani all likely to depart upon the expiry of their contract at the end of the season. The Reds will need attacking reinforcements to combat this, especially considering the poor form Marcus Rashford has shown in recent weeks.
