Paris 2024: Irish in action on Day 8 of the Paralympics

Just one Irish competitor is in action on Thursday at the Paralympics as we near the closing stretch of the Games.

Para swimmer Róisín Ní Riain has already won two medals, silver in the S13 100m backstroke last week and bronze in the the S13 200m individual medley on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old from Limerick is back in action in the heats of the 100m breaststroke, an event she won the European gold medal in April.

Ní Riain's heat at the La Défense Arena goes at 10.07am Irish time and the final will be at 6.33pm if she qualifies.

Both races will be live on RTÉ2 and RTE Player, with TV coverage and four web-exclusive streams starting from 8.30am.
