Pape Gueye reveals Aberdeen FC stress drove him 'crazy' as he sought respite in city CASINO

Pape Habib Gueye has admitted that his lack of game time at Aberdeen drove him "crazy" and forced him to hang out in a CASINO.

The Senegalese striker arrived at Pittodrie for a bumper £500,000 back in August from Belgian pro League outfit KV Kortrijk. But he's now been shipped out on loan to Kristiansund Ballklubb in Norway, with little prospect of dislodging top scorer Bojan Miovski from Neil Warnock' s starting XI.

But Gueye insists he was never given a fair crack of of the whip by Barry Robson, despite the former Dons boss calling him up, insisting how much he was "needed" at the club. Guete appeared just 6 times in for the Reds, racking up a grand total of 137 minutes playing time. Gueye claims he trained as hard as he could, but found continual snubs fro Robson difficult to handle after working so hard to persuade him to join the club.

"I'm really disappointed, because Barry was calling me saying 'we need you at the club' as I did a lot of sacrifice to come, you know?" He said. "I come and I don't play. That's why I was frustrated and disappointed for my situation.

"I'm very surprised I didn't get games in Aberdeen because I was training very hard, but didn't have the opportunity to show what I could do on the pitch. The only opportunity I had was for a small time.

"Even in that small time, you know, people could see, if I had the time I need to I can do something special. But I didn't have it.

"I'm someone who trains very, very, very, very hard. I train two times a day. After training I do extra and I go to the gym a lot."
