Palmeiras Putting Massive Release Clause On Endrick's Contract To Ward Off Real Madrid

Endrick is the latest Brazilian wonderkid causing a stir in the football world but any potential suitors could be battling against a huge transfer release clause.

As with Vinicius, he won't be able to move to Europe until he turns 18, and his current side Palmeiras are hoping to extend his stay as long as possible by placing a big transfer clause on his contract.

The club want him to sign a professional contract with them when he turns 16 in July and, according to AS, they're hoping to add a €100 million release clause to help ward off interest and get the most for him when the big sides do come knocking.

The report says that Palmeiras are attempting to keep the player as long as they can, as his departure from South America is inevitable at some point.

If he were to be sold when he turns 18, in summer 2024, for the release clause price then he would instantly become the most expensive player to move from Brazil.

He has shone in the recent, Copinha de Sao Paulo, one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in Brazil, and is well on his way to being a massive star.

Real Madrid's forward line already boasts Vinicius and Karim Benzema and Los Blancos are expected to add Kylian Mbappe to the squad this summer.

They've also been linked with Erling Haaland and adding both of the world's best young forwards to their side in the same window would be quite ridiculous.
