Paddy Pimblett’s backstage reaction to Molly McCann KO at UFC London

Paddy Pimblett was preparing for arguably the biggest night of his UFC career to date when he took on Jordan Leavitt at the O2 Arena at UFC London.

The Baddy didn’t disappoint in the final fight of the night before the co-main event and the main event, winning inside two rounds.

It took him slightly longer than his last fight, but he forced Leavitt into submission to complete a historic night for his city of Liverpool in the capital.

His win followed a dominant victory for fellow Liverpudlian Molly McCann. Meatball left Hannah Goldy answerless with a comprehensive victory earlier on Saturday night at the O2.

She hit her opponent with what is quickly becoming her trademark move, a spinning elbow to knock her to the canvas before unloading a series of punches to her head to force the referee to intervene and end the fight.

As soon as the referee stepped in, McCann was diving over and out of the Octagon to celebrate her victory with the crowd and her supporters.

Meatball wasn’t the only fighter celebrating her emphatic win, fellow Scouser Pimblett was backstage preparing for his own fight with Leavitt, but was glued to the screen to watch his mate in the Octagon.

It’s fair to say she did him a huge favour winning in the opening round, allowing him more time to focus on his own preparations, which clearly worked.

His reaction to her win was captured on camera and is a great watch, he goes absolutely bonkers for his mate winning, showing their bond together.

Watching on with his team, Pimblett was fight suit ready in his shorts and gloves surrounded by his team who all celebrate McCann’s huge win, with The Baddy turning to the camera to shout, ‘yes, yes, come on.’

Paddy's reaction to Molly McCann's knockout is priceless
