Paddy Pimblett's astonishing weight five weeks after UFC London
Paddy Pimblett has appeared on Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast and yet again his weight was a talking point.
The 27-year-old appeared on the Jackass star’s podcast and he even got weighed to see where his current weight lies.
The Liverpudlian has quickly become one of the most popular names on the UFC roster due to his fun personality and excellent fighting ability.
He has quickly earned a 3-0 UFC record, thanks to comfortable victories against Luigi Vendramini, Rodrigo Vargas and Jordan Leavitt.
His weight has been called into question by some fans and many people in the UFC bubble, including president Dana White.
He recently said: “It’s not good for you.
“We all know that. We all know that fluctuating and cutting that much weight is very bad, and it definitely doesn’t prolong your career.
“It’s tough on your body and your organs and stuff like that. But he’s a grown man and he can do whatever the hell he wants to do.
“We have to be very specific when we plan fights for him because he’s nowhere close to weight.”
It appears that Pimblett is not going to be taking any notice anytime soon however.
The lightweight limit is 156 pounds for a non-title fight, which he has shown he can achieve on fight night.
Pimblett didn’t make that weight during the podcast, though, as he tipped the scales at 206.6 pounds – about 50 pounds over the limit.
Unbelievably, it is also enough for the Liverpool man to fight at heavyweight if he did not feel like cutting the weight.
He said: “If I had gotten on them scales tonight after we’ve went and ate and f****** watched the UFC – 210 [pounds], easy. I get bloated lad.”
The Baddy, however, defended his weight cuts and revealed that it is all done safely.
