Paddy Pimblett makes brutal assessment of UFC London opponent
British standout Paddy Pimblett is set to make his return to the octagon as part of UFC London this weekend, and ahead of the fight, he has made a brutal assessment of his opponent, Jordan Leavitt.
Pimblett enters the fight as the favourite, with the official UFC site giving him odds of -250 compared to Leavitt’s +210.
Another win here for the Liverpool fan would elevate him even higher towards an eventual fighter against a ranked opponent in the Lightweight division.
Here is what Paddy Pimblett had to say regarding his UFC London opponent Jordan Leavitt ahead of fight night on Saturday, July 23rd 2022.

Speaking to Daniel Cormier and Ryan Clark on the latest edition of ESPN MMA’s DC & RC Show podcast (via Sportskeeda), Pimblett discussed what makes him a ‘better fighter’ than Leavitt.
He said: “I know a lot of people call me overrated and say I’m not that good. But I think he’s overrated…
“There are levels in the UFC and I’m a level above him. I’m going to show that I’m not a flash in the pan and I’m going to finish him in the first round.
“People are saying, ‘Oh, it’s going to be an exciting grappling match.’ But I’m a much better grappler than him. I am so much better on the floor than he is.
“Like, he hasn’t got hands, know what I mean? He hasn’t got a set of hands. He can’t strike to save his life. He couldn’t finish his dinner, you know what I mean?”
