Paddy Pimblett and Gary Neville: Paddy the Baddy tells former Man Utd defender he hated him

Paddy Pimblett is one of the up and coming stars in UFC, making his debut in the Octagon for the organisation almost a year ago when he knocked out Luigi Vendramini.

The Scouser has gone on to win another huge fight at the 02 Arena, putting on a Performance of the Night showing against Rodrigo Vargas, forcing him into submission inside just one round.

That has set him up with another fight later this month, when he takes on Jordan Leavitt on the undercard of Blaydes vs Aspinall and we genuinely can’t wait to see him back in the Octagon.

Recently, The Baddy has joined fellow Scouse UFC star Molly McCann on the Overlap with Gary Neville. The trio discuss a range of topics from politics, their paths into UFC and their lowest moments in homage to Neville’s disaster with Valencia.

They took Neville into a cage and discussed their experiences and demonstrated the times when they were put to sleep in a fight, showing how brutal their sport can be.

When talking about internet trolls, the pair laughed it would be people who hated Scousers, with Neville jumping around like ‘oh that’s me’ and Pimblett was honest in response.

Obviously, as a Liverpool fan, Pimblett was never a big fan of Neville in his playing days, saying: “Lad, I used to hate you. When you played for United, I used to hate you. I grew up watching you win absolutely everything.”

The former United right back responded, laughing and saying: “Look at you, the eyes have gone haven’t they?!”

So in response, Pimblett added: “I used to just hate United in general. Until about a year ago I used to say Rooney wasn’t even good, Rooney was overrated because I hated him that much.”

He didn’t stop their either, The Baddy, when tweeting out a promo for The Overlap, he captioned
