Ospreys v Scarlets live: Kick-off time, TV channel and team news
The Ospreys will hope to put a turbulent week behind them as they host arch-rivals Scarlets in a crucial United Rugby Championship clash in Swansea.
Head coach Toby Booth was relieved of his duties in the wake of a 59-15 thrashing at the hands of Montpellier in France. Booth was due to leave at the end of the season anyway but after a poor start to the 2024/25 campaign Mark Jones has been promoted to head coach earlier than planned.
The Ospreys have been dealt a blow with Wales captain Dewi Lake ruled out with a bicep injury but Jac Morgan and Gareth Thomas have recovered from knocks picked up in Montpellier. Justin Tipuric returns to take his place in the backrow, while hooker Sam Parry, prop Tom Botha, lock James Fender, centre Keiran Williams and scrum-half Reuben Morgan-Williams start for the hosts.
The Scarlets arrive at the Swansea.com Stadium in search of their first victory in Swansea for seven years. But Dwayne Peel's side have improved immeasurably since last season and will fancy their chances of coming out on top.
Peel has made to changes to the side which beat Black Lion 36-18 in the Challenge Cup last weekend with Ioan Lloyd starting at fullback in place of Ioan Nicholas and Eddie James replacing Joe Roberts in midfield.
The game is live on Premier Sports and BBC Wales and you can follow it right here.
