Oscar nominations 2023: The full list of Academy Award nominees

The Oscars will take place at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre tonight, as the biggest names in film come together to recognise their most outstanding achievements from the past year. The 95th Academy Awards will see a host of films, actors, cinematographers, composers, and more, compete for the most coveted trophies in the business.

Leading the pack this year is the surreal sci-fi Everything Everywhere All at Once with 11 nominations, while The Banshees of Inisherin and All Quiet on the Western Front follow closely behind with nine nods each. The best actor category is expected to be a tight three-horse race between Brendan Fraser, Austin Butler and Colin Farrell.

Fraser took home the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award for his transformative performance in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, Butler bagged a Golden Globe and BAFTA for his turn as the King of Rock n’ Roll in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, and Farrell won a Golden Globe for his role in Martin McDonagh’s Banshees. Hoping to round off his remarkable comeback story is The Goonies and Indiana Jones star Ke Huy Quan, who, after earning a Golden Globe and a SAG award, earns an Oscar nomination for his supporting role in Everything Everywhere.
