Or Dadia lands Aberdeen FC transfer exit lifeline as Hapoel Tel Aviv move to takeover nightmare Pittodrie loan

Hapoel Tel Aviv want to end Or Dadia's frustrating stint at Aberdeen.

The Israeli top-flight side want to land the right-back for the second half of their campaign. The Israel international hasn't kicked a competitive ball for the Dons and has been left frustrated by his lack of top-team action. Hapoel Tel Aviv are now trying to see if they can do a deal with Dadia's parent club, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and Aberdeen that will see them take over his loan.

Hapoel, ironically, are pushing Be'er Sheva for European qualification. The 26-year-old moved to Aberdeen in the summer but his only appearances have come in the Aberdeenshire Shield and he has found himself behind Nicky Devlin, Shayden Morris and Jack Milne. Aberdeen aren't likely to stand in Dadia's way if he can get regular playing time. Liverpool recalled their defender Rhys Williams earlier this month after he found himself in the same boat without kicking a top-team ball under Barry Robson.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen are bracing themselves for late interest in Duk. Swiss side Young Boys have been linked with the striker but there is also interest from a number of other countries.

There has been no contact with the Scottish Premiership side. It would take a decent bid for Aberdeen to sell Duk as they have to give Benfica 50 percent of any sale. The Cape Verde international, who missed out on his side's African Cup of Nations squad, is also going into the last 18 months of his contract.
