Opponent reveals incredible things Luke Little ate before record-breaking win
The Grand Slam of Darts final was an astonishing display by 17 year old Luke Littler, who after devouring his first-ever TV ranking title, went on to thrash Martin Lukeman 16-3 in Wolverhampton on Sunday. The victory marked his fourth major win in a remarkable debut year on the professional tour for the Runcorn-born young star.
Littler, who shot to fame during the World Championships at Alexandra Palace last December, has quickly ascended to being one of the world's top darts players. Adding to his Premier League victory earlier this year, he has now claimed the Grand Slam title as part of his impressive haul of victories.
After a breathtaking 16-15 semi-final win against Gary Anderson, Littler dominated 37th world-ranked Lukeman, taking 15 consecutive legs at one point to secure another significant trophy. Post-match, defeated finalist Lukeman shared insight into Littler's unconventional pre-match meal that seemingly powered his triumph: "He had a curry, and a Boost [chocolate bar], then walks up there and just smashes me like that," Lukeman recounted to Sportsboom.
Surprised, he added, "I'm like, what? 98% of the players down there just doing what they do, but he's actually had a curry, a Boost, and them little sweets half pink, half white... squashies, yeah squashies."

Littler's peculiar pre-match diet has attracted curiosity, particularly regarding his routine during session intervals.
