Opinion: The odds are against a new contract for Celtic star

There has been some speculation about the future of Celtic centre-back Christopher Jullien, who has been out of favour at the club since returning from a long-term injury.

The Frenchman is no longer first choice at Celtic, having been replaced by Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter-Vickers, and with only one year left on his contract the player might have been thinking about leaving the Hoops to try and get regular first-team football elsewhere.

However, it seems that Jullien has no intention of leaving Celtic, as the Daily Record reports that the player wants to stay and try and win his first-team place back.

The report also states that the Hoops are often to offers for the defender, but as yet no bids have been made.
