'Only those in red win the Champions League' - Manchester United fans revel in Man City collapse

Manchester United fans have been sharing their delight as Manchester City suffered an unbelievable collapse against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final.

City went into the second leg at the Bernabeu with a 4-3 advantage and for most of the 90 minutes that followed the Blues looked set to reach the final in Paris against Liverpool. That fate looked to be sealed in the 73rd minute when Riyad Mahrez smashed home a fine finish to give Pep Guardiola's side a two-goal aggregate lead.

However, the momentum turned in the 90th minute. Substitute Rodrygo scored two goals in as many minutes to send the thrilling contest into extra-time. Just five minutes into the first period, the home side were handed the chance to take the lead as Ruben Dias fouled Karim Benzema in the area.

The French forward stepped up and slotted home to give Real the lead for the first time in the tie. Real's victory ensures that they will face Jurgen Klopp's side in the showpiece final on Saturday, May 28.

United fans could not wait to share their joy. Here is what they had to say on Twitter.
