Netflix has welcomed back one of the premier thrillers of the 21st Century, offering an ideal escape for those not quite in the mood for holiday festivities.

Boasting a stellar cast, its the star famed for his portrayal of a cherished Marvel superhero who anchors this feature, setting a personal high-water mark with his acting prowess.

The tense plot unfolds with the disappearance of two young girls on Thanksgiving, leading to the swift capture of a suspect. Yet, the arresting detective soon releases him upon realising the individual's limited mental capability precludes them from being the perpetrator.
