One obvious winner and one clear loser at Fulham this season – Agreed?

Looking to wrap up the Championship title over the next couple of weeks, it has been an excellent campaign for Marco Silva and his Fulham side.

Often looking a level above, the Cottagers have played some brilliant football and have scored at an alarming rate during this season.

Possessing six more games this season, it remains to be seen how long it will take for the Whites to first secure promotion, and then win the title.

Whilst we wait to see what the rest of the campaign has in store for the Whites, here, we take a look at one obvious winner and a clear loser from this season…

One Winner – Aleksandar Mitrovic

Whilst the vast majority of the regulars could be classed as winners, it would be unfair not to pick out Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian forward has scored 38 goals in 38 Championship appearances thus far, smashing the Championship record set by Ivan Toney last time out.

Whilst he has been truly magnificent this season, the service he has been consistently provided with has been a big factor as to why the tally stands so high.

It looks like Mitrovic will be presented with another opportunity to prove himself in the Premier League next season, something he will be eager to get started with.

One loser – Michael Hector

Michael Hector has been confined to just three Championship appearances this season, with the partnership of Tosin Adarabioyo and Tim Ream proving to be a formidable one.

Proving to be a top Championship defender in recent seasons, it will have been difficult for him during the campaign, knowing the ability he possesses.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Hector, with his contract set to expire in the summer, however, the Whites do possess an option to extend his stay at the club.
