Omar Berrada starts, transfer deadlines - key dates for Erik ten Hag after Man United decision

Manchester United will head into the 2024/25 campaign with Erik ten Hag still at the helm.

United sources, late on Tuesday night, confirmed that Ineos had completed their performance review into the 2023/24 season and that Ten Hag will remain in charge. Ineos, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, had opened an end-of-season review just days after the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.

United held talks with potential replacements, amid the possibility of them making a change, but several conversations failed to come to fruition. Ten Hag will now lead United for a third term next season.

Ahead of the transfer window opening on Friday, United can now start planning for next season with a concrete plan in place. A lot of work needs to be done in the coming weeks and months.

With that said, MEN Sport has had a close look at five key dates coming up in the calendar that Ten Hag and United can look forward to over the summer months.

The fixtures for the Premier League campaign will be released as soon as next Tuesday. As per tradition, dates of all 380 games will be released that morning at 9am.
