Omar Berrada has four clear Manchester United priorities

New chief executive Omar Berrada is expected to watch Manchester United's pre-season opener against Rosenborg at the Lerkendal Stadion in Norway on Monday evening.

Berrada officially started work at Old Trafford on Saturday and traveled with the squad to Norway. He was pictured alongside technical director Jason Wilcox at the airport.

Berrada was the first high-profile appointment made by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, being appointed as the club's chief executive back in January. Poached from neighbours Manchester City, Berrada spent six months on gardening leave before officially being allowed to start work in M16.

However, as reported by the Manchester Evening News in March, Berrada was already holding discussions with external contacts ahead of getting his feet under the table at Old Trafford. It was understood he was keen to maintain working relationships with those he dealt with during his time as chief football operations officer at City.

Now in situ, Berrada, who has joined the likes of Dan Ashworth and Christopher Vivell at United's new-look top table, will be keen to make his mark. With that said, MEN Sport has picked out four tasks he can fulfil.
