Shane Lowry is five shots further back and has just got his final round underway.

Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele are the men to catch on 14 under par.

Cathal Doyle took his second chance and goes in the semi-finals of the 1500m this evening.

The Dubliner won his repêchage yesterday and returns to the track at 8.10pm Irish time.

In the field events, 20-year-old Nicola Tuthill placed 16th in the women's hammer throw.
