Ollie Watkins answers Philippe Coutinho question Aston Villa fans are asking

Ollie Watkins claims Douglas Luiz is the best free kick taker at Aston Villa, despite supporters agreeing that Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho should be given authority over dead ball situations.

Villa haven't scored directly from a free kick since November 2019, when Conor Hourihane netted against Newcastle United in a 2-0 win at Villa Park exactly 851 days ago. And after both Coutinho (loan) and Lucas Digne joined the club in January, Villa fans are expecting to see more goals from set pieces before the end of the season.

Asked who is the best free kick taker at Villa, Watkins told the FPL Show: "Douglas. Douglas always practices so yeah, let's go for him." But Villa supporters are in agreement that the responsibilities need to be shared on a match day. Here's what some have been saying on Twitter...
