Olivia Rodrigo to play at Manchester’s Co-op Live next year as part of GUTS world tour

Olivia Rodrigo is coming to Manchester next year as part of her UK tour - and she’ll be kicking things off at Manchester’s Co-op Live.

The teen pop star will be coming to the city-region on May 3, 2024 as part of her GUTS world tour. Following her Manchester date, she’ll be heading to Glasgow, Birmingham and London.

Olivia, who has just released her second album GUTS, is most known for songs Vampire, Bad Idea, Right?, Good 4 U and Drivers License. Her debut album SOUR has been certified 4x Platinum.

Tickets for the eagerly-awaited tour will be open to Co-op members first via a designated presale from next Wednesday (September 20) at 10am. A registration sale will then begin at 3pm next Thursday (September 21) via Ticketmaster. Remaining tickets will be on general sale following the end of the registration sale (September 22).

Bosses at Co-op Live said the registration sale aims to block bots, reduce resale, and get more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show.

The £365 million Co-op Live venue, which is set to open in April, will feature an innovative bowl design, large standing floor, and state-of-the-art acoustics. Artists previously announced to be performing during the 23,500-capacity venue’s opening season include the Jonas Brothers, Keane, Niall Horan and Eric Clapton.

As part of the GUTS world tour, Olivia will kick the 57-date run on February 23, 2024 in Palm Springs, CA at Acrisure Arena,Today before venturing across North America and Europe, with stops at the likes of Miami, New York, Amsterdam and Paris.

The tour is set to finish up at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on August 14, 2024.
