Olivia Pratt-Korbel - The innocent little girl at the centre of heartbreaking murder trial

Nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel 'loved life and all it had to offer'. She loved her family and loved her dog. She loved doing her makeup and her nails. But all this was cruelly taken away from her she was gunned down in her own home on an August evening last year.

Today, her killer Thomas Cashman was convicted of her murder after a tear-jerking four week trial at Liverpool Crown Court. Cashman, 34, and formerly of Grenadier Drive, West Derby, was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Joseph Nee, wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Cheryl, and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Described by her family as 'nine going on 19', Olivia 'left a mark on everyone she met'. It is this way Olivia should be remembered - as the confident, charming little girl that 'packed a lot into [her] nine years', reports the Liverpool Echo.
